Zombie Apocalypse Halloween Prank (SA Wardega)

SA Wardega actually attended the same film school as me, he was always playing around with innovative shots and would come up with the most interesting ideas. A real trooper he has now made a big name for himself on YouTube, so congratulations to him!

This shot from Survivor is infamous as it captures the moment one of the stuntmen jumped on to the directors hand breaking his wrist! He was given a serious amount of grief when the director got out of hospital.

This is my favourite of the Survivor clips, it shows the panic in Keto's breath as the living dead walk past his hiding location in amongst some bushes. One of the longest test shots this really tested the patience of the stuntmen in zombie makeup.

Survivor post production notes

We decided to us Sepia tone and old film effect to create a found footage look and feel for the movie. Whilst not 100% professional it does give the movie a much more intensity as you get drawn deeper into the world of the Survivor!

It took us 15 weeks of searching to find all 6 locations in the local area. Myself and Rob would drive for hours in each direction looking for old abandoned warehouses, blocks with run down houses and old schools with boarded up windows.

All in all we took something close to 14Gig of footage, hi-res photography and sound effects from the local area.
