The Mountains

Headed up into the mountains overlooking the city this evening. Caught a misty kind of sunset and then waited for dark. The laser show was awesome however none of the pictures came out as my camera is about a million years old! This is the best picture of the day.

Hong Kong Business District

Took the underground to the business district and walked around. Literally nothing here to do or see other than large buildings and salarymen running backwards and forwards in an effort to look busy.

The Late Great Bruce Lee

A titan of cinema during his life Bruce Lee lives on in solid brass form standing proudly along the Hong Kong waterfront. I was walking along and immediately recognised hie signature stance and baggy pants. If only baggy pants were still that fashionable now...

"Bucuckkkkk!!!!"

Night Life

Found a great noodle bar and had a huge meal earlier and figured it might be fun to stay out late. This city is immense, like London all squished into 10 square miles. Below is a typical street full of lights and live shows, boy Hong Kong really knows how to push out the boat!

Fleeting Hong Kong

The glorious backstreets of Hong Kong. Having only been here a few hours from the relaxing beaches of Phuket Thailand this really is sensory overload! I met an old man in the foyer of the hostel who asked me if I was cold (I was only wearing a t-shirt) and I said "No" he replied with a thumbs up and said "Ohhhh strong!" I like it here.
